  • General Contracting
  • Working with owners representative together on communication, architectural issues, plan distribution, subcontractor management, estimating, value engineering, project management, building department issues, scheduling with lead times and project close out.
  • Design/Build
  • This consists of UBC being responsible for the entire design and construction process. UBC would supervise the overall architectural, engineering, bidding, contracting, building, and inspection from the beginning to the end of the project.
  • Turnkey Construction
  • A “turnkey” construction project is similar to the design/build process except that UBC develops the entire project. In addition to building the project, UBC obtains financing, acquires the land, procures the designs and plans, etc.
  • Fast-Track Design and Construction
  • When time is the highest priority, an owner and UBC may agree to a fast-track project approach. The fast-track approach is the process of starting actual construction even though all of the plans and drawings are not complete. This allows for construction to begin without being delayed by the design and bidding process.
  • Construction Management
  • UBC would be hired out to facilitate estimating, project management/superintendent, project design correspondence and design cost management as an owner's representative.
